CHEMIST

  • Provides chemical expertise to business owners and to colleagues at government laboratories.
  • Expertise in the application of thermodynamic principles to chemical industry processes.
  • Developed laboratory methods for American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
  • Wrote, submitted and presented papers at national and international meetings of peers and customers on topics such as The Chemistry of the Uranium Oxyfluorides I & II, and Quantitative Infrared Analysis of Hydrogen Fluoride.
RESEARCHER
  • Developed the underlying theory for the application of “one of a kind” instrumentation (various on-line analyzers).
  • Supervised the infrared spectroscopy and gas chromatography laboratory.
  • Collaborated to initiate development of two methods of analyzing uranium.  The two methods were approved by the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) and later published in the Year 2000 edition of the Annual Book of Standards, Volume 12.01 on Nuclear Energy (I).
